You are so wrong. Colleges are so afraid of disproportionately failing minority students that they find ways to pass them, no matter what.

Once they then slip into the workforce the same happens in terms of employers.

We simply give them a pass through life.

My brother brings up this issue. He works in the IT sector in a southern city that has a particular college in town (I won’t divulge the name) where graduates walk easily through, and have a degree. His IT company won’t touch these guys. Resumes will come and they flatly turn them down. As far as they are concerned, these universities have turned themselves into a marginal papermill, and with fake instructors....create a bigger mess later.

He points out...most folks in the area won’t hire these college graduates, and most end up with jobs that used to not require college degrees....like the manager of some car rental shop.

I transcribe special education hearings. One of the witnesses, a teacher, let it slip that they are not allowed to give intelligence assessments to black children.
