Darn! Missed your chance for some yummy stuff! Maybe next time.

I know what I’d like. Hubby’s cinnamon toast. He really knows how to cover it in all the good stuff. LOL! Have never had any on his homemade bread..bet it would be awesome!

Hope y’all dry out soon. Rain is nice...till it isn’t. I can really hear the wind howling now. Temp now 43, WCF 34. Crazy long plunge!

Dude...you just don’t seem like a powdered sugar kind of a guy. :)

Are you talking butter pecan ice cream like MY suggested?

Hmmmmm, cinnamon toast would be a nice substitute and we do have everything for that. Homemade bread would be dy-no-myte. I’m shocked you haven’t had it on your hubby’s bread.

I’m not going to complain about the rain we’re getting. It’s getting the water table back up and we need that. It could be a dry summer so a head start on things will be nice.

The cold front is going to come as far east as west TN but won’t make it here, thank goodness. But we’re getting the wind from the system’s movement. It’s a strong system and we’ve had some stout wind the past couple of days. I stopped gathering things up that had been blown into the yard from the back porch because it just blew off again. It’s going to stay there until the wind dies down. LOL

The only reason I haven’t is that when he makes cinnamon toast, each slice has about a bazillion calories in it. LOL! If I had it, I couldn’t eat another thing for the rest of the day.

Dang, I need to go down there to eat a bunch of his cinnamon toast! One, it would be scrumptious and two, it would put some weight on these bones. Been a stringbean all my life. LOL

My brother got the “stringbean” genes in our family. I got my mom and grandmother’s short and not stringbean shape. I’m not as round as they were, but I could be if I ate much of that cinnamon toast. LOL!

This thread has made me sooo hungry! :)

My brother and I both got the stringbean genes from our maternal grandfather. The other three grandparents were on the short side and our sister got their genes.

This thread has me hungry too! Probably has everyone hungry. LOL

No doubt. Maybe we’re the last ones here because everyone else scurried off to make waffles, cinnamon toast, bacon or some other goodie. LOL!

I guess I always think of cinnamon toast as breakfast. But vampires do have different ideas about when that might be, I guess. LOL!

My waffle iron broke. I can’t even make a waffle. Waaah. I do have my grandmother’s but it’s over 100 years old and you place it over the burner on the stove. Of course, her mom used it with a wood cook stove, and boy! Would it ever need to be cleaned. LOL!

Cinnamon toast is good ANY time of day or night. I like it as a midnight snack. But then, I like breakfast food for supper sometimes too. If something tastes good, there isn’t a specific time to eat it. :-)

Wow! That’s an old waffle iron! All the old stuff I’ve run across in this house and that’s one item I haven’t found. I know they used to heat and cook with woodstoves years ago. The gas heaters are hooked up to the chimneys now.

Unless they threw it away...and it sounds like they didn’t throw much away...I’ll bet it’s somewhere around there!

You had cinnamon toast and I had popcorn. That was good, too! :) I was watching some shows on-line. Still have one to go before signing off. :)

There are several outbuildings we haven’t begun to dig into. No telling what we’ll find when/IF we do. They’re so packed full, the thought of doing anything in them is daunting. *shudder*

I’ve been watching a little tv and keeping an eye on Raimis and Milda. They have unwanted company bugging them this morning.
