Great post and I agree 100%. For me, it comes down to something very simple.
Immigration and the changing demographics of this country. And that is why I’m furious that the President is even giving Congress the slightest chance to come up with a so called solution. Major parts of both parties want the same thing, but for different reasons. And they think that they’ll be isolated and insulated from the consequences of both.
Hamtramck, Mich is a perfect example of what will come. And I’m not talking about the actual, muslim aspect of it. I’m talking about a group of people that played nice, for years. And then when they got control their tune quickly changed to one of aggression. It’s going to be the same, just on a grander scale.
The next two elections are going to decide the fate of this country. If it goes the way I hope, probably you, as well, the corruption and sleaziness that seems to be the status quo in that swamp, just might bet dealt with. If it doesn’t go that way, then, as you stated, it will continue and be even worse than before as they’ll gain more and more control.

I agree. The left have fanned the flames of identity politics for many decades in their cynical approach to divide and conquer, obtain votes, and hold power. They’ve ripped the soul of the nation apart, and the seeds of resentment and anger they’ve planted have germinated and grown. They’ve done it by pushing rapid immigration with consequent demographic shifts, subsidizing out-of-wedlock births and creating a government-dependent class, refusing to stem illegal immigration, and pushing a now politically correct narrative that we are a nation of white racists and oppressors who are destined to become a minority as the nation is ‘transformed’.
It’s destructive and irresponsible, at best, and in reality it is driven by much darker, selfish, and nefarious motivations. It has brought our nation to the brink, and it has led to an undercurrent of desire for ‘payback’ by some minority groups who aspire to be the majority and hold the bulk of power. Ironically and tragically, they are seeking ‘payback’ for crimes that most of us have not committed - despite being assigned ‘group guilt’ by the left. It’s sickening.
