Here’s a solution, expedite the trial and if found guilty expedite the death penalty. Put cameras in schools as well as armed guards, next shooter gets recorded and put to death within one year.

I’d go that one better....immediately after being apprehended, put them into the school open area, bring in a wood chipper, put them in feet first. Record the entire episode, put it on u tube and run it as a public service announcement before each semester in the national media.
Guarantee it has an effect. Desperate times require desperate measures.
I respect Mike Rowe more than I respect the majority of congress and journalists. The vast majority.
The country would be far better with more Mike Rowes and far fewer Hillabeasts, Pelosis, Dorkbamas, et al.

To leftists/social Marxists/liberals/progressives (however you choose to label them) evil does not exist. There’s just otherwise good people who are victims of outside influences.
That is why their ideas never work — no recognition of natural law, natural truths and human nature (which includes inborn evilness). And their rejection of our triune God ices their queer cake.
All school should go to one entrance, security guards, armed, to search backpacks etc. like TSA at airports. Change schools from soft to harden spots. It’s not hard it just takes common sense.
There will always be evil and it must be kept in check or eliminated from society. Cruz is evil and demonstrated this repeatedly; he was not punished. Surely the Parkland school wanted to discipline Cruz. However, their hands were tied by the district’s asinine policy.
Victims and their families should be outraged at their school’s discipline code and preparing to sue the BC School board and Sheriff’s office for this collaboration. Nikolas Cruz was never busted at school because of the 2013 NAACP collaborative discipline policy:
Broward County’s School Discipline ‘Agreement” signed by the Sheriff, State Atty and local judges. Its purpose is to keep minority juvenile delinquents out of prison by NOT enforcing Florida state laws in schools.
These various behaviors will NOT result in suspension or expulsion or notification to the police. Instead they receive warnings, lectures and possible stern scolding!
The infractions include -All student misbehavior and these non-violent infractions:
Disrupting or Interfering with class
Affray - fighting in a public place
Theft if less than $300
Vandalism damages < $1,000
Disorderly conduct
Trespassing, Loitering or Prowling
Criminal Mischief
Gambling
Harrassment or Threats
Alcohol -all related offenses
Possession of Cannabis
Drug Paraphernalia
Obstructing Justice w/out Violence

I pretty much gave up talking to Leftists decades ago. Partially because they don’t want to listen to our point of view.
Which is fine, because I stopped listening to them long ago.
Besides the fact that Leftism is emotion based primarily on control of others, the other main problem with Leftism is, Leftism is based on a hideously expensive and dangerous foundation that is composed of one giant lie, and that is their belief in the following:
LEFTIST VIEW: People are inherently good, and if you treat them right, remove poverty, ignorance and disease from their lives, then all of the bad people will melt away, and we will live in a utopian harmony with our fellow man.”
Granted, the people at the top don’t believe that (they understand Leftism is power and control of others) but the legions under them do believe it, and act as their useful idiots.
I think many conservatives understand (just at the Founding Fathers completely did) that humans are weak and flawed, and we need a government that protects all of us from a government filled with flawed people, particularly those that have good intentions. (Especially those with good intentions.)
We understand that there are some people who are just...bad. They are not redeemable. They cannot be rehabilitated. They are bad, and need to be dealt with, and not with the love of human kindness. And if you don’t deal with them, they will oppress, rob, rape, or murder you, and it won’t bother them a bit.

But the usual crooked politician solution is to crack down on those who abide by the law and are crooked politician’s worst enemies.
