at bottom of article.... "Most of the coverage of Russian meddling involves their attempt to effect the outcome of the 2016 U.S. election. I have seen all of the Russian ads and I can say very definitively that swaying the election was *NOT* the main goal," he wrote on Twitter.
To prove his point, he referenced an anti-Islam protest in Houston in November 2017. Russian trolls were later shown to have organized both sides of the protest.

CNBC seems to have missed the most important tweet... " Rob Goldman @robjective Feb 16 The majority of the Russian ad spend happened AFTER the election. We shared that fact, but very few outlets have covered it because it doesnt align with the main media narrative of Tump and the election. https://twitter.com/robjective/status/96468012200658124

How does any of what these Russian trolls did not amount to nothing more than free speech?

Before Hillary lost everyone knew Russia was doing this to divide America.
After she lost they needed a special prosecutor to enact their coup so they said trump colluded with Russians.

Regardless of whether the intent was to sow distrust or to influence the election, isn’t either justification for implementing the sanctions that Congress passed?

Why should anyone believe the “facts” as presented by Rosenstein/Mueller?
These people sought to overthrow Article II Section 1 of the Constitution.
Whatever they say, count on truth being elsewhere.

Trump backs Facebook's ads VP
"Most of the media coverage of Russian meddling alludes to an attempt to effect 2016's outcome.
I have seen all of the Russian ads and I can say very definitively that swaying the election was
*NOT* the main goal," the Facebook VP wrote on Twitter. NEED TO KNOW: Mueller says he indicted the 13 Ruskis b/c they made "disparaging remarks" about candidate Hillary?
<><> when did Hillary's campaign report this criminality?
<><> who did they report it to?
<><> did the campaign notify voters about the plot?

So according to Mueller, Russia tried to create divisions in America along class, religious, gender, and race.
I guess they didn’t realize the political left has been working that side of the street for awhile.

How does any of what these Russian trolls did not amount to nothing more than free speech? If that is all they did, possibly. But what they did amounts to more than free speech. Sedition and likely breaking of other federal law.

mind u, the whole story is ridiculous. DNC/Dossier, CTR trolls, Soros-funded activists etc etc.
how does all that compare with a few so-called Russian trolls?

The point is to spoil it, to create the atmosphere of hate, to make it so stinky that normal people wont want to touch it,
https://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/07/magazine/the-agency.html
The internet agency was well known and exposed by buzzdeed in 2014, and other media outlets like The NY Times (above link) in 2015 and 2016.
Everybody knew they were trolls, even as far back as 2014.
