Confusing article.. It seems the couple was never married, judge gave father decision making over matters of religion. Dad is practicing Catholic. Did mom have child baptized in a different faith? or did she just do it without telling him so he couldn’t be there?

According to the article, it's the latter. Father and mother are both Catholic.

Yeah I can see he’d be mad - but put the mother of your child in jail?

I see a lifetime of misery for this mother and her child

It sounds like the second, then she rubbed his nose in it on Facebook.

The judge should have given her more time than that for her stupidity in posting her willful contempt for his order on Facebook.
