There will be no discussion on gun control. My rights are mine.

OK. With very few exceptions, only cops and military have them so feel free to ban those. I don’t know why, but it’s your money.

Yes, "assault weapons" are lightweight, smaller rifles that are conveniently switchable between automatic and semiautomatic fire.

Examples of assault weapons are the AR-16 and the M-2 carbine.

The M-15 is a semiautomatic rifle that looks military-ish, but is not an "assault rifle".

As far as banning something, how's about banning SSRIs and other psychotropic drugs given to young people, absent the most compelling diagnoses and controls?

You can’t fix mental retardation. God can, but I doubt this guy cares about that.

We’ve been missing something important. We’ve failed to analyze and profile the most noticeable mass murderers. Some people in agencies have done so, but the analyses have not been published. By and large, similarities between them have not been discussed or analyzed.

* Each of the mass murderers came from affluent families and suburbs. They were not rural or urban, and they were not poor.

* Most of them were on psychoactive drugs if not all of them.

* People around them had noticed very abnormal behaviors in all of the younger ones, the most noticeable behavior being extreme apathy. Cruz had committed quite a few crimes against his neighbors over a period of years.

* The parents of the younger ones seemed to be oblivious or protective in regards to their apathetic behaviors and neglected to take local measures to keep them from obtaining weapons.

First step rifles then pistols. Camel nose in tent. If that guy likes Jeb Bush so much he is crazier then the mass shooters.

Modern Sporting Rifle Facts
•The AR in “AR-15” rifle stands for ArmaLite rifle, after the company that developed it in the 1950s. “AR” does NOT stand for “assault rifle” or “automatic rifle.”
•AR-15-style rifles are NOT “assault weapons” or “assault rifles.” An assault rifle is fully automatic — a machine gun. Automatic firearms have been severely restricted from civilian ownership since 1934.
•If someone calls an AR-15-style rifle an “assault weapon,” he or she either supports banning these firearms or does not understand their function and sporting use, or both. Please correct them. “Assault weapon” is a political term created by California anti-gun legislators to ban some semi-automatic rifles there in the 1980s.

“There is to be NO DISCUSSION on Gun Control until The Wall is BUILT!”

Don’t want to discuss it then either.

I would hope that Florida-based real estate developer Al Hoffman Jr. would take a deep breath and think through what he is saying

He won't. He's been anti-gun for decades, loves Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney, and is a NeverTrumper.

Also, interestingly enough, prior to 1934, when you could order a machine gun and have it delivered to your home, there were no school shootings.

The rifles aren’t the problem.

There’s a photo of him here. He’s old—really old. From a quick search, it appears that his age is a secret.

Really if you use the logic of the left so as to label a weapon an “assault weapon” then all weapons should be labeled as such as it is the intent of the user to “assault” another with the weapon. Any weapon would qualify. Right?

I’m guessing that from his entry into the U.S. Military Academy in 1952, Al is at least 84.

This crap is tiresome. Interesting that there is no definition of an “assault weapon.” The Moonbats want of make millions of us felons for merely owning what they consider an “assault weapon” when most of these assholes do not know the difference between an automatic and semi-automatic weapon; nor can they even define one. The kid could have killed just as many with a handgun.
