We should pull this on them, as they have pulled it on us so often.
Promise to them with full sincerity that we will push gun control once the funds for the wall have been appropriated.
Then just forget about it once we have the wall.
It is what leftists have done with immigration over the last 50 years...give us full amnesty/quotas for all illegals/prospective immigrants, and we will do “X”.
Like Lucy pulling out the football, they have just forgotten about “X” and never looked back.
We should do the same.

Yes, it is dishonest. But I’m sick of being treated like a patsy by the Left on this. I don’t know if I were in power if I would do it as they do, but it would be fun to hear the howls of protest!
