Many good points in this article, but, this one gets to the heart of the whole mess so that the average American can grasp the need for a special prosecutor:

"In summary, the highest levels of the FBI and the Justice Department were working with the DNC and the Hillary campaign to dig up dirt on Trump in order to destroy his candidacy and later, his presidency." BAM!!

Maybe not Mr. Bolton, but, someone of unquestioned character and integrity needs to look into what we now know and prosecute those who broke the law.

I can only hope that the idea proposed by the author is causing a lot of folks to lay awake at night wondering when the "knock" will come on their door.

I know this sounds strange but Allen Dershowits might not be a bad pick.

Better than the Republican insiders previously mentioned here who at the end of the day are not friends of Trump.

When posting this article ny thoughts also turned to Mr. Joe DiGenova.

But, Allen Dershowits, or someone similar, might be the better choice. First the Democrats and MSM praise this “bipartisan, nonpolitical” choice and praise them to high heaven.

Then when “Mr. Straight Shooter” drops the goods on the bad guys (most from the camp mentioned before) they have no place to go. Similar to what has been happening with Mr. R leading the DOJ and Mr. M being the SC.

I agree, but the potential problem is that Alan Dershowitz is 79 years old. Not sure he's got the energy necessary (or the time left) to do the job thoroughly.

Not only no, but HELL NO.
Dershosh!tz is a POS leftist. Leftists go into law to pervert it. Plus he’s a hillary voter and defender. He wouldn’t bring anyone to justice especially demoncrats.

Joe DiGenova would be my first pick

"In summary, the highest levels of the FBI and the Justice Department were working with the DNC and the Hillary campaign to dig up dirt on Trump in order to destroy his candidacy and later, his presidency."

Repeat it far and wide. Every American, Dem, Republican or Indie need to Know this fact and appreciate the consequences of what really happened. . . An attempted coup at the highest levels of our Republic!

Bolton, diGenova or Jarrett, all good, Or all three working together. Rudy? Either way, we'll need a pitbull to be a Special Prosecutor.

Greg Jarrett, John Bolton and let’s coax Rudy G out of retirement. 3 Special Prosecutors looking at all of the crimes of the Clintons, Obama, Obama administration.....

“Joe DiGenova.”

My first choice too! I like John Bolton, but he has no real experience as a prosecutor and he’s got too much “Boosh Experience” under his belt. The other guy I like is Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch, who is also definitely an outsider.

“An attempted coup at the highest levels of our Republic!”

The conspiracy and corruption is so massive that we really need military tribunals at this point in the game.

DiGenova would be a truly inspired choice. Somehow, he’s managed to avoid turning into a Swamp Creature. Maybe it’s his wife’s good influence.

The decision to let Rosenstein lead the investigation is very disturbing, I don’t get what the President is thinking.
