On January 5, 2018, a person close to Nikolas Cruz contacted the FBI’s Public Access Line (PAL) tipline to report concerns about him. The caller provided information about Cruz’s gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting a school shooting.
Under established protocols, the information provided by the caller should have been assessed as a potential threat to life. The information then should have been forwarded to the FBI Miami Field Office, where appropriate investigative steps would have been taken.
We have determined that these protocols were not followed for the information received by the PAL on January 5. The information was not provided to the Miami Field Office, and no further investigation was conducted at that time.
FBI Director Christopher Wray said:
“We are still investigating the facts. I am committed to getting to the bottom of what happened in this particular matter, as well as reviewing our processes for responding to information that we receive from the public. It’s up to all Americans to be vigilant, and when members of the public contact us with concerns, we must act properly and quickly.
“We have spoken with victims and families, and deeply regret the additional pain this causes all those affected by this horrific tragedy. All of the men and women of the FBI are dedicated to keeping the American people safe, and are relentlessly committed to improving all that we do and how we do it.”
Yeah, right.
Wray is responsible for his people. He needs to resign or be fired. This is inexcusable.

They are too busy manufacturing evidence to overthrow the legally elected President of the United States.
They have no time to investigate criminals.

Such a detailed tip and nothing was done. Outrageous!
If Wray could tall the truth, he’d say:
“we ignored the threat”
“we ignore all threats of this kind”
“we are politicized”
“we want these instances no matter how heartbreaking”
“it gets coverage of our attempts to overthrow this constitutional free republic off the front pages”
“it drives our gun confiscation agenda”
“thank you”
Unbelievable. No, really. Unbelievable.
They’ll be sent to HR to be mentored by Strzok.
Results of the 8 year purge of conservatives and level headed people in all of fedgov and being replaced by incompetent, emotional socialists/communists that are more focused on ‘the revolution’ than anything else.
Maybe, like Strzok and Page, the hotline folks were too busy texting all day and plotting the downfall of Donald Trump.
Sounds like somebody wanted this sort of thing to happen. We didn’t get our way so we aren’t going to do our jobs. But maybe not.

They were forced into admitting this after it was revealed police had been to his house 39 times.
Obviously his name would have come up in any data base locally if it had been searched as previously stated .
That’s a different department. This fell under “Stuff we know about that will further our agenda when it happens” department.
Kudos to the FBI for admitting they blew it.
Most law enforcement agencies in the USA would NEVER do this.

Cruz was also turned in by a bail bondsman. That was turned in to Mississippi FBI. Several weeks ago.
