Next will be Small Arms Qualification. We’ll show them a video instead.
These snowflakes are supposed to be the ones to defend us from the NORKS and the Chinky army?
We need to step back about 50 years.

Give them a try -one at a time- and the competency question is cleared up.

Makes sense - not all in the Army will be used in functions that would entail heaving a grenade - cheaper and more efficient to do better training with those who will
I spent 24 years in the AF and never had to pass a flight exam or math class for pilots....

Women don’t have the upper arm strength to throw them. So.....end of training. But not to worry, the military is being rebuilt.

Throwing is a very specific skill. A complex interaction between a number of muscles and muscle groups.
Even 40 years ago it was noted that the sports Americans play give them a large advantage in grenade use over most other nations. For most it was something already natural.
Its much more than pure strength, and something most kids dont do anymore.

I recall the grenade throw in combat proficiency exam in military academy—just a dummy, but, I hit the stake 2 out of 3 times at 30 yards. I admit, there was some luck involved.
