I enjoy Conservative Treehouse, but this report is out there. It begins: "While attending Occidental University, 1979 81′, young Barack Obama meets a former Jimmy Carter administration official Zbigniew Brzezinski. Brzezinski is a key CIA asset and expert on Russia." CIA asset and expert on Russia??? Why not Secretary of State under Jimmy Carter who returned to private sector and academe in 1981. There are numerous books written on the early days of the Afghan-Soviet war, but I request anyone that has information on Brzezinski operating inside Pakistan in 1981 (as a CIA asset?) to provide that information. (Zib had very little use for Pakistan's General and dictator Zia al-Haq.) In that year the Russian invasion was barely a year old and the Reagan policy on that war was inchoate. Saudi Arabia had only begun to gear up to expend a billion dollars to fund it, and the US which later provided arms had only a small operation at Islamabad and its presence in Peshawar was nil on a full-time basis. You ask, "what are the odds that both CIA operatives Brennan and Brezinski would be in Pakistan at the same time young Obama was there? I would say zilch. And if it by some miracle can be proven, then prove that somehow the crossing of their paths was of any lasting significance.
