One popular webnews site that is excellent but very anti Duterte was found to be partly funded by the same CIA related millionaire that helped get rid of the pro Russian president of the Ukraine. Coincidence?

There are indeed a loose network of elites in the world. They also produce many liberals and left-wing nuts. Duterte could end up like Peru's Fujimori. Dismantle Jihadis and commies but will be overthrown by local elites who have been around 'forever,' while he remains a popular figure among ordinary people.

I suspect Peru's local elites would never have dismantled vicious Shining Path and weakened other communist guerrillas into laying down their weapons.
