If you go farther back when Heitkamp ran for ND governor, when she knew she’d lose, brought out the sympathy breast cancer card and tried to play it. I thought it was just disgusting for a politician to have the media advertising on a level like that.
Her brother you mentioned, Joel, is a Ed Schultz grade democrat.

Senate races in ND are always tough for Republicans.
Many in ND yearn for a Democrat to fill any office because they believe the Democrats represent “the common man,” a mantra going back to Andrew Jackson.
Take out the turncoat Jodi Ernst too. Can’t stand that bitch bashing Trump now over the trivial Porter crap. God forbid she just call out the Dems for tolerating a SERIAL RAPIST in Bill Clinton for 2 decades. No, the bitch has to pile onto Trump over an aide’s aide.
Believe it or not, back in the day, Ed Schultz was a Republican and somewhat conservative. The Republicans considered running him for state-wide office. But then he divorced his first wife and moved left, and then hard left.
Maybe a long time ago that was correct. My mother lives there and believes that but she is 90 years old.
Ed was a complete Rush clone when he was on WDAY. The switch to KFGO turned him into a male Joy Behar.
