Outgoing Sen. Bob Corker is reconsidering his retirement as some Republicans in Tennessee worry about potentially losing his seat, Politico and The Washington Post reported. Some members of the GOP in Corker's home state want him to run again in this year's midterm elections, according to Politico. The 65-year-old Tennessee Republican, a frequent critic of President Donald Trump, announced plans in September to retire after his current term ends.

Sounds like hell be running as a Dem.
I will only support this decision if he runs as a Democrat so Marsha Blackburn can steamroll over him in November.
Goodbye....ya Corker!!
The ONLY reason for Corker to get back in, since theres no way he would win the primary, would be an attempt to weaken Marsha Blackburn before the general election. If Corker gets back in, lay responsibility for that decision on Mitch McConnell.
Or, the Dems "special helper", if he runs and wins as a GOPer.
I would agree that if he gets back in the race he’s handing it to the Democrat.
Well Bobby we dont want you in that seat so just quit before you get beaten
Yeah I have doubts whether he could win the primary, and I have bigger doubts whether Blackburn will beat Bredesen.
The Corker/McCain ticket....
Well ain’t that a corker...
There is no evidence of that, not that you need any stinking evidence.
In the past decade or so, the southern white vote has gotten way more Republican. The Weekly Standard on this subject:

Moreover, as Governing has documented, not every red-state Democrat who performed well in the past has been able to replicate their performance in the new political environment. In 2016, Evan Bayh, a former Democratic senator and governor from Indiana, came out of political retirement to run for his old Senate seat. He earned more votes than Hillary Clinton did in Indiana, but still lost by ten points. Bob Kerrey, a former Nebraska Democratic Governor and Senator who left the upper chamber in 2001, tried to run again in 2012. He got a larger share of the vote than Obama, but also lost by double digits. Ted Strickland of Ohio is a slightly different case because he lost his 2010 gubernatorial re-election bid before failing to unseat Republican Rob Portman in 2016but its still not a great precedent for Democrats.
Bredesen has a lot of political skeletons in his closet as governor of TN and mayor of Nashville. Only the hardcore demorats will support him. He ain’t from around here... grew up in NY... he will fit right in with Schumer.
Still trolling with mitch mcconnell and the rest of the uni-party grafters.... to get his portion of what obamaumao promisted him... and Alexander and a host of other demo machine “james baker” republicrats.....
.
The renewed “infrastructure” public/private gambit, may have the “privatization” and SALE of the Tennessee Valley Authority— all of it— covering 3 states. At a bargain using OUR money and so-called “bonds” issued from some other element of the banking/fedreserve CABAL, at a further discount. MASSIVE fraud.
This was to be Corker’s payoff in addition to the %age he got (and this can be traced if Uranium 1 is pursued and should be) for the extra-constitutional Corker Amendment, supporting the IDIOTIC criminal Iranian Nuclear. So, the greedy little crook is trolling for the TVA. Follow the money.
And... call mcconnell on this— the lying mcconnell. Call him on it now, since he is once again trying to spoil our elections, just like he did against another VERY GREAT Republican Southerner... Mo Brooks of Alabama who would have beaten the pants off of Doug Jones. Shameful, mcconnell, shameful- but why should that bother you?
Time to trot out the “national guard” story of mcconnell’s supposed medical deferment so called as he went on to intern with another repub of the time. Seriously. Let’s get rid of this truly impediment to our Republic.
Goodie.......now we can see him lose........;)
Then the Good People of Tennessee will have to show him the door and slam it shut!
Yeah, a bunch of RINOS worried about an actual conservative winning the seat in Tennessee.
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good. GTFO!
