Back during his FOX days, Beck admitted he was bipolar and suffered from AADD, as well as bouts with depression, but he said he had overcome alcohol. All of that explains a lot about a lot. I’m guessing his mental health issues are fairly severe, enough that the issues more than anything else has blown up his career.
When he is bizarre, I do remember these things and feel sorry for him, but even so, I have no inclination to follow him or his radio program, or the Blaze.
I was a big Beck fan. Went to the big Aug 28 shindig on the Mall in DC. Saw him at UCF in FL and went to a big rally in Kissimmee, FL. Read a few of his books and listened to his radio program. He came off the rails in 2016 and I threw out all of his stuff and wrote him off my books. I miss him, not. If I knew about the bipolar problem I would have looked into the cause and effects.
I think that it is a convenient excuse for lousy behavior and backing the wrong men consistently.
