Maybe he and Kaepernick could go on a comedy tour...
If he sobered up and found Jesus, he might be worth a shot in Canada
Thats his only option
He’s not ‘Bi-Polar’.
He’s a spoiled rotten rich kid who had everything handed to him on a silver platter and he acted like it............
You drank some mighty expensive alcohol, Johnny.
“...they can always go with Manziel.”
Is that anything like the manzierre? Or the bro?
I thought he showed potential in the few games he played. If he is on the right track, he certainly has a chance. Besideshos own problems, being drafted by the Browns did him no favors.
“Self-medicating with alcohol.” That’s pretty funny.
Heck, Bobby Layne probably put away more alcohol than Manziel and still won a few NFL titles.
Yep.
Still, all he has to do is start bashing Trump...and he'll get all kinds of media opportunities.
Just look at all the no-talent hacks on CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, PBS.....making a fortune reading hate-Trump talking-point cue-cards all day.
Sounds like he may be more than qualified...see, you don't need to be sober, even coherent...heck, you don't even need a brain to join the cult...just a mouth to drink the kool-aid, then the ability to vomit it out to the masses.
Same model...you just don't need the bottle.
Guess he’s bored playing his banjo on the banks of the Chatahoochie River.
Oh, that's just TERRIFIC.
He may or may not have a dual problem... alcohol abuse and mental issues... usually they go hand-in-hand.
Manziel is a person who likely never experienced failure in his life... he was always the star... and his athletic abilities could always overcome any failings in other parts of his life.
It is tough for an athlete to face that they are no longer the king as he did when reaching the NFL... probably made any of his other problems worse...
The same appears to be facing Matt Harvey of the Mets... a pitcher dominant in ever level of baseball... until he got hurt. He is now trying to reinvent himself... you can see the frustration in his life from time to time...
They both need to learn how to live life on its’ terms and not theirs as they move forward... a weak person can be destroyed by it... if one can overcome such... it can make them a better and stronger person.
Wish them both success in finding the courage and strength... I found mine in the Lord... not in the bottle or pills.
If he can stick to alcohol abstinence I say give him the same shot as any other walk-on. He was an amazing QB and super fun to watch.
Has anybody ever done a study that shows how many bi polar kids had Fathers that would kick their AZZ for misbehaving compared to those bipolar kids that either had no Father or a weak Father? I’d like to see some stats on that.
I have 3 brothers, none of us are bi polar and we had the Kick our AZZ dad above.
He also tended to believe and side with teachers over us, elders over us, the church pastor over us.......pretty much most proven responsible people over us. And we miss him terribly.
The old
I will whip your AZZ till you cry THEN whip you for crying.
BE A MAN....Once you stand up to them they cut back on the drama BUT a lesson well learned.
Bootcamp used to be like that...A little crude BUT an effective way to take a group of malcontents, juveniles and turn them into ‘robotic killers’...
Of course on some they couldn’t find the ‘off switch’ BUT chances are the Boot Camp just brought the ‘lawlessness’ out quicker.
Approx 20% of alcoholics suffer from depression.
Just about any NFL team would give him a second chance if he is good enough to help win and his problems are genuinely handled.
I kind of doubt though he is good enough to make a roster.
Sounds like Bootcamp is a proven cure for this bi polar.
