Prior to 1964, people might have said the reverse:
“This is wishful thinking. Get real. Blacks will never vote Democrat in large numbers. Ever. The best we all can hope for is political neutrality where blacks support neither party.”
Then 1964-1968 happened, the biased media created a false narrative, and the Great Society captured them as wards of the state. It will take a lot to free them again, but republicans did it in 1865, and we can do it again.
LBJs re-enslavement progrom has been remarkably successful. His prediction of 200 is 1/4 fulfilled. And it has been expanded to include all other demographics.
