Donald J. Trump does not lie, in that he denies ever having done or said something which he HAD done or said. There may be gaps or incongruities in his recounting of certain past events, but whose memory is that good? This has NEVER been his method of doing business, as it would have been revealed long ago, and his successful career would never have lasted anywhere nearly as long as it has.
President Trump’s views may have evolved, so by comparing something he said in, say 1998, may not seem to square with what he asserts in 2017, a really particular examination of his words may make seem that he either lied then, or he is lying now. If we are comparing this standard to that of, maybe, Hillary Clinton, then Donald Trump has been VERY transparent, and highly consistent in how he understands the world.
Do not use this accusation lightly or without having some very real and indisputable evidence to support the contention. “Liar” is not a characteristic trait that in any way applies to Donald Trump, now or in the past.
Woodward actually seems to have some journalistic integrity, though he’s still is obviously a leftist. Bernstein leaves no doubt about where his interests are and seems completely unhinged.
Donald Trump has been very resilient and despite the shamefully slow confirmations, despite the improvement in the economy, despite the media being proven wrong, over and over again, he keeps on rolling along. Not even that Wolf book made a dent, and that has got to be having these guys pulling their hair out.
Now they are pinning their hopes on accusing two of his people of domestic abuse, and it is true that many women are tired of being the ones presumed to be wrong, but the thing is that Trump had evidently made friends with one of these men, and he came off as human when wishing the man well. The media is not coming off as human, they are coming off as insane zealots.

The New York Times reporter who called Melania Trump “a hooker” has apologized, saying he wants to “take ownership” of his mistake.
Jacob Bernstein, son of Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein and the late writer-director Nora Ephron, came forward as the journalist who made the comments about the first lady in a conversation with model/actress Emily Ratajkowski, the Wrap reported.
“Speaking at a party in what I thought was a personal conversation, I nevertheless made a stupid remark about the first lady,” he wrote on Twitter. “My editors have made it clear my behavior was not in keeping with the standards of the Times, and I agree.”
Bernstein, who reports for the paper’s Style section and co-directed an HBO documentary about his mother called “Everything is Copy,” referred to his comments as “unfounded rumors.”
“My mistake, referring to unfounded rumors, shouldn’t reflect on anyone else and I apologize profusely,” Bernstein said.
The New York Times confirmed Monday that the unnamed reporter made a “completely inappropriate remark about Melania and that editors from the newspaper spoke to the reporter in question.
“At a party last night, a Times reporter who does not cover Washington or politics, referred to an unfounded rumor regarding Melania Trump. The comment was not intended to be public, but it was nonetheless completely inappropriate and should not have occurred,” the Times spokesman said.
“Editors have talked to the reporter in question about the lapse.”
Nobody will ever best the Kenyanesian Usurper when it comes to lying.
Hey, someone dragged that old corpse Carl Bernstein out of cold storage to make Nixon/Watergate comparisons again. Wind him up and given him a Republican name and he’ll drone on for 20 or 30 minutes about how they are worse than Nixon.
Any one of the Clinton or Obama scandals would make Watergate the equivalent of shoplifting a Mountain Dew.
