Always beware when liberals quote Scripture. Generally, the only use they have for the Bible is as a doorstop.

Politicizing the Bible by individuals, who by doing so, show their ignorance and disrespect.

Any form of amnesty imposed by our government is not voluntary.

Technically it is. Representative Democracy etc. Congress is way off base with the public needs and desires though.

“you invited me in.”

Not to be confused with sneaking in. Bible has something to say about that too:

“If a thief is found breaking in and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no bloodguilt for him, but if the sun has risen on him, there shall be bloodguilt for him. He shall surely pay. If he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.”

Charity is given, not taken.

quoted the Bible

So this Democrat wants to establish a religion in the government?

The words of Jesus are intended for voluntary action of believers. So the Democrat is not trying to impose the religion of Jesus, nor of any part of the Judeo-Christian theology.

This Democrat is trying to impose the Brother's Keeper theology of Cain, which is also prohibited by the US Constitution.

I would hesitate to add yet another two very old and yet still very true, verses, “Thou shalt not covet” (wanting what belongs to another) and “Thou shalt not bear false witness” (lie) both of which 10 Commandments are broken when people break in to your nation because they want what you have fought, worked and died to maintain and have lied and cheated to keep what they are stealing by using false documents to continue to exist here!

The libtards never want to quote the “do not let strangers settle among you and worship their gods...”. Funny.

Good article.

I would add that Matt 25 has nothing to to with helping strangers. It has to do with helping believers in Jesus.

“Whatever you do to these brothers of mine”

Had this writer done some really good biblical research, he would have found this:

Romans 13:1 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.

Rom 13:2 Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

Rom 13:3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same;

Rom 13:4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.

Rom 13:5 Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake.

Rom 13:6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.

Rom 13:7 Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.

So the Democrats no longer believe in the separation of Church and State.

Perhaps the STATE, specifically the courts, should look to the Bible for guidance on issues such as homosexuality and abortion.

Deut. 33:55 —

“But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.”

In the Old Testament, the Lord was continually indicting the Israelites for refusing to eject people who would overthrow their culture.

Moses wrote the laws of naturalization of foreigners, and they were extremely restrictive. Citizenship could not be granted until the third or fourth generation; for some groups, not until the tenth, and for others, never.

I responded to some liberal christians who were claiming that Jesus & his parents were ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS when they fled to Egypt to escape Herod attempt to kill the child.

I pointed out to them that though in those days they didn't have airports or train stations, but they villages & cities were setup with large gates & walls where the leaders had setup offices to deal with travellers as they arrived in the city. See Proverbs 31 where the Virtuous Wife's husband is praised in the City Gates as he sat among the elders & other leaders of the council. Thus the young family was vetted by the Egyptian leaders as they sought to live among them, and thus there no "Illegality" as these liberals want to claim & drag Jesus into their crimes of illegal entry & lifestyle.

Regarding illegals I’d have to go to Old Testament precedent. The Gibeonites dishonestly made entry into covenant with the Hebrews under Joshua in 9th Chapter. Once the ruse was discovered It was understood by both parties that those in this Canaanite tribe would strictly be a servile class (ie. cutters of wood and drawers of water), never on par with the Jews.

To see how Jesus regarded the citizenry of nearby nations, simply examine his “narrow” theology expressed at the Samaritan well or his discussion with the Syro-Phoenician woman. Definitely not first century pc.

Whem I’ve seen ny dreamers on TV, they seem to be the type that would not be invited to stay. Loud, in-your-face, and think they are owed this.

No one is owed anything in this world.... work hard and be thankful... I don’t see the “thanks” in the dreamers.

U.S. Code › Title 8 › Chapter 12 › Subchapter II › Part VIII › § 1325 - Improper entry by alien

a) Improper time or place; avoidance of examination or inspection; misrepresentation and concealment of facts

Any alien who (1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or (2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or (3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.

Romans 13:1-7

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

Case closed!
