Are there any texts which actually substantiate such an alleged relationship?
My understanding is that there are texts of a more "personal" nature, but they have not been released.

Ever wonder why everyone is SO SURE that they had/have a relationship, when nothing seems to point to it?
Well, it was a leaked story in the Washington Post. The working theory, now, is that the so-called lovebirds were the ones who leaked it.
As to why, my thought is that they figured they could get some sort of virtual immunity, allowing them to make a privacy claim over whatever messages they didn’t want to get out - although that doesn’t seem to be working too well at this point.
