I was very critical of Kelly when he was hired. You can read my old posts on here of me ripping Kelly. I didn’t trust him. I had heard he was isolating the President and blocking conservative sources in his morning briefing. That said, he grew on me. It is clear to me he supports the President and what he ran on for the most part. I would hate to see him go now. The left has made him their new target - ever since he took on Congresswoman Wilson, defended the release of the memo, and helped make sure Trump didn’t make a bad immigration deal. He may have bungled the handling of this, but all he had were accusations and denials. Porter had an impressive academic history and had worked for three senators. He did a good job at the White House and got along with everyone there. His character at work didn’t match the accusations he denied. They didn’t know anything definite at that time. Obviously, when the pictures came out he resigned. He needed to. He still denies it, but I think the women are telling the truth in this case. Kelly may not have handled it perfectly, but he knew nothing definitive until all this broke, and he was trying to reconcile the man he knew with the man who was accused. I hope Trump gives him a break and doesn’t give the media another scalp.
They have 24 hours a day to fill and the only people watching are rabidly insane leftist radicals. Their audience thrives on pure muck so that’s what they feed them.
Oh... yeah, that would work, too. Seed DJT’s staff with people who have problems.
Another reason for Kelly to stay.
Just shows that he is a man of honor. Will not happen.
General Kelly, your offer of resignation is DENIED.
Carry on, Sir!
What the h*ll is going on in this country!! recuse.. resign.... lay down... give up... this kelly is military.. where is that spirit?
DON’T DO WHAT THE LEFT WANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my Lord in Heaven.. please give these men the spine to act like men.. to tell the left NO.... to stand in all this mess the left is causing.
Like Bill Clinton said many years ago....these all day shows have to cram twenty minutes of news into twenty four hours.
Fake ABC news. 4th paragraph. Kelly leaving is not imminent.
FORMER WIVES OF TOP WHITE HOUSE AIDE ROB PORTER BOTH TOLD FBI HE ABUSED THEM
......................................................
Are they registered Democrats?
Are they part of the ME TOO brigade?
Are they typical girly girl wimps?
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.
A man of honor. We’ve seen so few lately. He will keep his job.
“White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley denied that Kelly has offered his resignation.”
I will take Hogan’s word over mainstream media gossip. Filed under fake news.
What I want to know is why he was on interim security status when the FBI knew for a year that the wives claimed he was abusive. Sounds like the FBI is up to their old tricks again, they only brought this out at this time to try to force Kelly to resign. This really stinks.
That’s what Thomas Paine (on Twitter - a former intel guy) from True Pundit said.
I know nothing about this guy, but to your question/comment...Just because he was accused does not make him guilty. Ones responsibility when one has a security clearance is to keep his security rep informed of any adverse or potentially adverse situations. Things like being arrested, accused of a crime, financial irresponsibility, etc. If you are falsely accused, the agency will usually await the outcome of any trials, or proceedings before they pull your tickets, that is so long as you report everything upfront. If you try to hide it, that’s another thing...
As I recall, when this kind of stuff happened to Obama, they never commented on it and people never left. It was so frustrating, but they never gave an inch. Trump’s circle should do the same.
Why does Kelly have to appease the freakin LEFT..they want him gone, they want Trump gone..F the left Kelly does NOT have to answer to them
I just read the “stale cap’n crunch” thread to get away from the Sessions bashing.
I have real issues with this. Okay, Porter has had a history of domestic violence. Why does that mean he can’t be employed? He should get help, and be in an environment where his bosses make sure he gets it, but when did we (society) start throwing men overboard instead of helping them?
