In some redneck circles, that behavior is just good old-fashioned chummy horsing around. Seriously.

Well, it least he was showing mercy by trying to put him in head first.
It would be sooooo much worse to go in it feet first.

Not stated, on whether he was fired for this.
At very least, suspended.

Wow! Writing standards for news editors sure have declined. The title has a glaring grammatical error.

Marge Gunderson’s best line. “And I guess that was your accomplice in the wood chipper.” Yup. Guess so.

Iverson pleaded guilty to the attempted assault charge and was sentenced to 70 months in prison. I guess he didn't get charged with attempted murder because the prosecutor couldn't rule out the possibility that he would have survived a trip through the wood chipper.

Interesting charge: “You are charged with trying to throw your co-worker into the wood chipper. How do you plead?”
Is there a law against that?

That scene traumatized the hell out of me.
A few years ago a tree removal service was working on my late father's property. They had a chipper going, chewing up and spitting out zillions of pieces of wood.
I was inside the house, covering my ears and playing Pink Floyd as loud as the stereo could go, trying to drown out the noise...
