California may try...

Good luck with that.

Any government official involved can be arrested and tried under interstate commerce clauses.

Fine. Run it through Oregon and charge commiefornia an additional region tax for it. It’s not like their gas prices will go any lower, they’ll use the extra savings from cheaper gas to fund the illegals basic needs.

We’re going to have to invade California and bring it back under US rule.

Obstruction of Inter-state commerce is a specific, and defined crime at the Federal level.

This will most certainly result in prison time for all who participate. From local LEO to the Governors mansion.

And that’s why it’s just some numskull politician blowing smoke.

The State of California, nor any of its officers will obstruct inter-state commerce.

Turnabout is fair play. Prohibit all refined petroleum imports into California.

Bring it onto Camp Pendleton or Vandenberg AFB. Both are huge and on the coast. Prohibit the prk (people’s republic of kalifornia) from either taxing or profiting from the oil or its transport.

Do what the commielibs do. Go find a federal judge that will issue a restraining order. Then, while you have the majority, pass a law that blocks states from interfering with federal energy plans. You can justify it as a matter of national security.
