As I said before, to the best of my knowledge our sore loser law is quite prohibitive, if Lipinski loses the rat primary he cannot run as a write in, not that I’d be very interested in supporting him.

If you meant write in for the GOP primary, I believe that can be done (not by someone running the rat primary), but the write in candidate must register as a candidate 61 days prior to the election, it already too late, unless someone has already registered as a write in to run in the primary, which I couldn’t tell you nor do know where to look to find out if there are write in candidates.

The best hope for people looking to vote for someone who isn’t disgusting is if someone runs in the general election as a Indie, third party filling deadline is in June.

A pity local Republicans didn’t put up a real candidate because while this district would be a tough win it is a little more Republican-leaning that other districts in the state that we do contest, Trump got just under 40% there, better than he did the 8th, 10th (GOP win 2014), or 11th, Romney and McCain also did better in the 3rd than in those districts.
