EXACTLY: Why didn’t the judges ask about the origin of the document?
They’re fucking judges!
They ask questions to derive the truth and keep themselves out of jeopardy.
It’s what they do.
The judges better step up, deny knowledge and shut this down, or they are facing prison.
Not how the system works. They are given an application along with documents and expect everything to be correct. It’s a paper thing. He reads it and makes his decision. The application says it all...or it is deceptive as in this case....but the judge doesn’t know that.

I see somewhere that the FISA judge in question was an
Obama appointee. It is also said that about 98% of
FISA requests are granted. After all, who is around to
argue on behalf of the target? We rightfully make an
issue about this phony dossier. On the other hand could
a menu from a Chinese takeout restaurant have accomplished
the same dubious goal?
