It’s because the FBI could have simply said it is opposition research paid for by the oppostition. Instead they concocted an elaborate story about some snippets. They didn’t show the whole dossier because that would have made it obvious that the thing is nothing but a poorly constructed opposition hit piece.
Hmmmm. This is what Swalwell and Schiff are talking about when they say the Judge “knew” the dossier was political motivated. Nunes said they were lying about the court being informed.
I want to know if they told the court that they were really investigating the Trump campaign. If I were the judge, I would have wanted to know that.

This article alludes to the fact that the judges were told something about the origins of the dossier, but were not “directly” told where it came from. What is this supposed to mean?
But wasn’t the story the FBI was getting the dossier in pieces at first? They didn’t see the finished product until McCain ran to them with it ?
Release the FISA court applications and get the judge(s) to testify under oath.

Not how the system works. They are given an application along with documents and expect everything to be correct. It’s a paper thing. He reads it and makes his decision. The application says it all...or it is deceptive as in this case....but the judge doesn’t know that.

Thank you. Like many here have mentioned it sounds like we have some crooked judges on our hands. This is just so far beyond imaginable. It’s hard to really wrap your head around the entire scope of things.
President appoints judges, the Senate confirms them and THEN the Chief Justice decides which once will sit.
