Christian Broadcasting Network founder Pat Robertson suffered from a stroke but is “expected to make a full recovery,” according to a release from the network on Saturday.
The televangelist was reportedly brought to the closest medical facility for strokes around noon on Friday after a member of the family noticed he had symptoms of an embolic stroke.

Yes, prayers. I was glad to see him back on the 700 Club this week... just excused his absence Friday as ‘a long weekend.’ I have been at odds with CBN for some months as Gordon begins to take the 700 Club helm... he mostly skips the news. Pat has always seen ‘a Christian perspective on the news’ as a ministry - which Gordon apparently does not. CBN has a world class staff of journalists who are not going to sit around in their basements waiting to get a story lead - for example David Brody, who goes back to Meet the Press with Tim Russert. I hope Pat will be back on soon, especially with Israel, Hezbollah, Iran and the WH starting to face off with each other with another potential war in the offing.
