Nearly 200 House Democrats have access to read, and have the legal immunity to release, a document that rebuts Republican claims of “FISA abuse” that is expected to become public soon, setting the scene for a potentially historic leak as angry Democrats decide how to respond to the GOP memo.
The White House signaled Thursday it will allow the release of the four-page memo drafted by House Intelligence Committee Republicans after two weeks of intense political debate, over the objection of the FBI and Democrats who say it misrepresents classified information.

Dems should release their rebuttal. Let’s see what they have to say.
The net effect will be to stimulate more debate, and particularly, more investigation on the key points where the two “memos” conflict.

They shouldn’t have to. The committee should just release it.
They can have one of the Awan guys leak it. I’m sure they still have access, probably via some democrats ID and password.
The Democrats haven’t ASKED for it to be released because it has to go thru the SAME VETTING that the Republicans had to go thru!!!! They KNOW it’s FULL OF LIES!!
They’d rather twist this memo....and then rewrite theirs. Hope someone HONEST has the present memo tucked away....cuz it’s gonna disappear.
Just take a gander at the DNC Platform and compare it with the RNC Platform.

If the Dems want to release their memo it will need to go through the same process as the Nunes memo.

Next, there needs to be a release of the actual FISA application and supporting affidavits.

Seems to me, the main point is that the original fisa warrant that started all of this wire tapping was gotten through a fraud on the FISA court. No one has said that’s a lie so how exactly could the rebuttal memo explain that away?

Maybe Comey can give it to his “friend” who will dutifully leak it to the media...like last time. Old habits are hard to break. Comey want to be helpful since the lying weasel has “left the field” while he is desperately trying to get a street named after him.

Who cares? The IG report will nullify any BS in their memo.
It’s hilarious watching Dems defend the FBI and FISA as being essential to “democracy” while they tell working families that a thousand extra dollars each year is chump change.
