You are right. And Republian delays gave them plenty of time to hone their counter argumenmts. Its a shame the memo wasn’t released before the media had time to prepare its counter offensive.
But, Republicans are nothing if not predictably reluctant. They do not have a winning mentality.

I did notice your Sarc Tag. We will never see this Memo. Sessions will not arrest/charge anyone. Release of the Memo will demand arrests. Not going to happen. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete an Arrest Warrant. Even less if the subject is named in a Sealed Indictment.

It’s a big day, but also the release will shrink the buzz from the president’s historic speech and relatively sky rocketing poll numbers.
Can’t blame a man for wanting to get the maximum of positive mileage out of good news.
The Memo being released puts all that in the rear view mirror. A whole ‘nuther front will open, in a new War of Words leading into an even larger Battle with the Anti-American Party.
