Sad story; no winners in this...
There are plenty of places in the Bible where death was the penalty for an infraction. I have no problem with the concept.
If we’re talking Cain and Able, of course Cain was wrong because he caused an unprovoked death.
It’s my take that Genesis 9:6 references that type of killing. It’s also addressed in Exodus 20:13.
There are millions of us out here willing to flip the switch, pull the trigger, strangle him barehanded or tie the knot in the rope.
We have been pushed to this brink by a justice system that rarely serves the innocent and allows too much sympathy for the convicted.
Yet our God will have the final word.
Good riddance to this evil turd!
That’s for sure.
People often thing of the moms and dads only, but there are others.
Sometimes there are other siblings.
Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews,... the whole family suffers a lot.
Then there are friends who are shocked and have problems coping with it.
Teachers, other students, people in the community, and a future husband and family and progeny that never materializes.
Who knows what they would have contributed to society.
All because some guy refused to cope with life.
Those little girls, man you got me crying...
I keep telling people that evil DOES exist still. This guy was flat out evil. I am GLAD he is no longer sucking air on the same planet I live on!

Randy, I do believe the man should be executed. Don’t get me wrong.
I go by the theory that God never finds solace in the death of a human. To Him it’s a lost opportunity. That person’s fate is then sealed.
Death is a sober affair. It’s why I don’t go overboard now that McCain is terminal. I don’t think anyone has a lower opinion of the man than I do, but once again here is a man who chose to live a wicked life, and yet God still yearns for him to be saved.
There is also the theory that I have not lived a perfect life. There is guilt there. So when I take another person to task, it’s simply the thought that I shouldn’t remain silent about someone (in McCain’s case) that could harm our nation.
I did everything in my power to talk down support of McCain in 2010 during his run for the primary that year. I had folks defending him all over the place.
Look at the things he’s been involved in since then. He has been a pox on this nation.
And still, when he is on his death bed, I see a man that more than anything failed God. God will likely be sad when McCain dies.
Doughty, you sir are a far greater man than I. I’m a firm believer...in an eye for an eye.
As long as we have this balance, all should be ok but when someone disrupts that delicate balance there should be justice served. Our justice system is sorely lacking in truly responsible individuals who believe that the justice system should carry out their sworn duties to uphold our laws.
That’s why we are so frustrated.
Justice has become just another slogan to them.
