A joke in Richmond B.C, a wealthy mostly chinese suburb of Vancouver says the most common car brands are mercedes, lexus and body shop loaner.
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by Asian driving.
First time I went to China we had a company van pick us up at the hotel every morning and drive us to the facility. Each morning it was basically “Mr Toad’s Wild Ride”. Early on I told my coworkers “I guarantee we will at least drive on the sidewalk at least once this week.” Our driver did not disappoint. Driving in China is an experience to say the least.
