USCG Retired pay center didn't get it done in time for today's retired check. Thanks for letting know what to expect March 1st.
If you work a typical 40 hour week a 3% bump is getting to keep the fruits of an additional 1.2 hours per week. I look at that as getting a little chunk of my life back. I should be getting my first paycheck under the new tables tomorrow and am guessing I’ll see about the same as you. I’ll happily take it. Over the course of a typical year, even 3% works out to an additional paid 60 hours.
And don’t forget 20%+ increases in healthcare premiums. Here in California, our ridiculous Governor just raised our DMV fees 25% and added another $.12 per gallon on our highest in the nation gasoline taxes.
Yeah, I’m leaning toward that.
Mine is up $49.65 per pay, (bi-weekly), and my wife’s was up $133.69 per pay, (bi-monthly), in the state of Ohio.
That’s $4,498.56 worth of crumbs per year.
Thank you president Trump!
My wife’s was $37 more than before. Hey $74 a month is better in her pocket than the governments. Besides it’s hers! That is a water bill or extra money to put back for vacation or savings.
My family will be able to pay off 2 credit cards early thanks to these crumbs.
