I’d like to see President Trump issue an Executive Order that — during the Democrat-caused fake budget “emergency” — mandates “DEFERRED ACTION ON NON-ESSENTIAL GRANTS”.

So sorry, NO more College “research” grants...
So sorry, NO more subsidies for PBS, NPR and PP...
So sorry, NO more contributions to the PLO and UN...
So sorry, NO more aid for any claimed “need” of rogue self-identified “Sanctuaries”...
So sorry, NO more subsidies for the National Endowment for the Arts, etc, etc...

Who knows?

Maybe those beneficiaries will receive their “deferred” taxpayer-funded “grants” when the fake “emergency” has past.

I hate to break it to you, but none of those are the real drivers of our debt. You need to look at things like medical care, Social Security, and that really big department that the critters in Congress love to fatten up....the Department of Defense.

What you're talking about is the equivalent of trimming $5 off of a $120 cable TV bill when your family starts coming up short of money.
