It’s called a roll off truck. It’s used to service large open top dumpsters. Driver is dead.
Unlikely ion Virginia.
...in...
Hmm the Republic of Terry McAuliffe is not safe for Republicans!!!!
It’s accident, people, life happens.
It’s an accident, people, life happens.
Reported on Fox from Congress Critter’s wife. Train is supposed to be very secure - tracks cleared and helicopters go ahead of train.
She stated that there should have been no vehicles on the track due to usual security measures. Of course, even just normal trains have warning lights and gates that lower.
However, she gave the impression, that because there are so many Congress people on board, that extra security measures are taken.
West Virginia. people, NOT Virginia.
Yeah you are right, more i have seen, looks like train knocked the box off the truck... i saw the cab sitting there with frame rails and dualies.
They were headed to the Greenbriar Resort in West Virginia.
The accident was in Crozet, Virginia, Albemarle County near Charlottesville.

Totally agree with what you said. I had a real bad feeling this morning when I saw some buses that were said to be taking R lawmakers somewhere.
These people play for keeps.
Thats why theyre referred to as the stupid party. Those who are not stupid, are just plain gutless.
Mmmm .... near Charlottesville. What would a word Association quiz with Charlottesville bring to the mind of a Dem supporter? Not UVA or Thomas Jefferson, Id bet.
Other than the titles, there’s really nothing in there.
Yes, but some of the comments there are worthy of seeing.
I’m not republican enough to retreat.
I would assume that the Truck driver was trying to cross the tracks.
What is curious to me, is that the security allowed this to happen. Supposedly (according to others) a helicopter is supposed to fly ahead of the train to ensure that congressional members on the train are safe. I've seen regular funerals where motorcycle officers ride ahead of cars and block intersections ahead. The government can't do the simple task of flying a helicopter ahead of the train and ensure the track crossings are clear? Nor warn the train engineer to slow and to stop if there is a blockage? Very suspicious to me, a lapse of security.
