The Obama Recession is finally over.
Exactly what metric are they using to measure this? If you are going to have the opinion Joe, what is the measurable metric that you are backing your claim up with?
Something about it taking a magic wand to bring back American jobs and to get the economy moving. The media have become lame,irrelevant and devoid of credibility

Oh please. The only reason why the economy flourished under Obama was that he took over after a massive financial melt down that had encompassed GLOBAL finance. Furthermore, he printed more debt than EVERY President in US History combined! Worst of all, with ALL OF THAT...he never grew the economy even 3% in one year.
What he did do was find a way to tax Roth Ira accounts and break the promise of the govt that Roth distributions are TAX FREE. He raised taxes everywhere, made the EPA so bad as to be laughable, wasted untold billions on FAKE energy, and NATIONALIZED our Healthcare.
Yeah, Obama, with zero prior job history in his entire life....masterful economist.... LOL, that is just too much.

Where have these guys been? The economy was in the toilet under Obama with no signs of change until after Trump was elected. Now they want to say it was getting better under Obama??? What do they want? Maybe we could re-elect Obama (or elect Hillary)so we could see the economy go down the toilet again,just to prove a point.

I don’t recall companies like Apple and ExxonMobil giving bonuses in the thousands and promising billions of dollars of infrastructure spending in the US during the eight “glorious” years of The One.

Don’t try to introduce facts and data into a discussion that’s only about ratings and clicks.
If the economy was better under Obama than it is under Trump, then the statement "this is a continuation of a trend that’s been going on for a while" must mean that the economy continues to get worse.
But that is demonstrably false. The economy is better now than it was when Obama was president. They can decide not to give Trump credit for recent improvements, but they cannot claim that things were better under Obama.
Also, I thought Joe's comment about job growth was hilarious. He basically said there was more job growth "over" the last seven years of the Obama administration than there has been during the Trump administration. Good grief I would hope so! Donald Trump has only been in office for one year.

EVERYONE knew this the day Trupm was elected whether they wanted to admit it or not. You could just FEEL the weight was lifted. It was no more that only the DC elites, their pals and the media were the only ones finding financial improvement.
