A new book on the medias relationship with the Trump White House has revealed a FBI operation to specifically set up a senior member of the Trump administration in a move that eventually led to the original claims of obstruction of justice against the president.
According to the book, Media Madness, by Howard Kurtz, then deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe called White House chief of staff Reince Priebus shortly after the release of a fake news report in the New York Times to ask to speak to him privately, telling him that everything in the article was bullsh*t and not to be believed.
The Federalists Mollie Hemingway reports:
McCabe claimed to want Priebus to know the FBIs perspective that this story was not true. Priebus pointed to the televisions that were going non-stop on the story. He asked if the FBI could say publicly what he had just told him. McCabe said hed have to check, according to the book.
McCabe reportedly called back and said he couldnt do anything about it. Then-FBI director James Comey reportedly called later and also said he couldnt do anything, but did offer to brief the Senate Intelligence Committee on the matter later that week, suggesting theyd spill the beans publicly.

There seems to be a disparity between what FBI officials tell reporters under the cloak of anonymity and what they admit under oath or to those who are more knowledgeable of the matters at hand. Opponents of President Trump, be they the media, Democratic activists, or Never Trump Republicans, are moving on from Russia conspiracies to claims of obstruction of justice.

Or, in other words, a direct SET UP on the democratically elected President of the United States.

She's still laughing at everyone while she spends her $102,600 a year pension paid for by you.
It is an absolute MIRACLE that Tump won.
Every case involving these asshats during the time of the previous administration will be re-investigated...
So McCabe knew it was all bullshirt, and they went ahead and appointed a ‘special counsel’ to investigate a fake story. And have been letting it drag on for a year.
What in the effing eff?????????????????????
Trump should ask for a news conference and in prime tie read the memo and announce he is firing the special counsel and asking for a new one to investigate the investigators.
People like McCabe and Lerner need a new fashion look.
Tar, feathers, and hemp neckties to be specific.
Rosenstein.
Just more winning!
Yup. As this unravels, I think he'll be discovered to be a dirty as McCabe.
Regardless....he won't be there in 3 months.
Speaking of Lois, I am wondering if as this cesspit is revealed if she might yet be brought to justice, along with a bunch of others.
Needs updating. X out Strzok, Page, and the Ohrs. Maybe a few others. Yates?
Dont be so sure Ryan was praising Rosenstein yesterday.
You're more optimistic than me. At some point, there will be a rush by all politicians to 'get this behind us.'(And...get back to work for the American people)
Many of these criminals will escape in this rush.
Trump should also indicate that, not only will some people likely be going to prison (not naming names, so as not to taint potential jury pools), but that those people will also be responsible for the COSTS of both the fake Russia investigation and the investigation against these evil conspirators.
That woman looks like a bad night in Tijuana................
That is so freakin unconstitutional its not even funny. . . and on a trumped up, fake charge as well.
We should start a Free Republic Dead Pool. Im looking forward to the indictments of Sally Yates and Lisa Page the most. Mueller and McCabe and then Mister Bible Verse himself - Dirty Cop Comey
