Like original. Like moving. Diverse? What quality is “diverse?”
Now, if it means we are going to see a variety of characters with backgrounds different than we are used to, it could be meaningful.
If it means they’ve got their pro-LGBT virtue-signaling, count me out.
Every character in a story is supposed to be unique. “Diverse” to me is a code word for a stereotypical character meant to elicit a certain audience response.
When it comes to paid entertainment, I agree with Samuel Goldwyn, “If you have a message, call Western Union.”
