Well, downtown, if you only count homeowners, is very white ...not too many hispanics. Workers during the day are all stripes.
When I worked there back in the 70’s they started building Condos near the Bonaventure Hotel.
At work we were wondering who the heck would want to live in Downtown LA. The idea of living East of Flower Street was like moving to a Foreign Country.
