L.A. isn’t Latin America, whatever California elites tell you. But it ought to be

Los Angeles is not Latin America.

Such a statement should be as uncontroversial as a western hemisphere map. But in L.A., conventional wisdom runs the other way.

More broadly, making L.A. a Latin American city would require creating the same freedom of movement the European Union enjoys, so that Latin Americans could visit, study and live here with ease.

Yeah right Joe. And how is that working out for the European Union? Anyhow the Latin American folks would not come here to visit they would come here to stay by the hundreds of millions.

You should see how the Mexicans treat the Guatemalans and Hondurans...

Didn’t California replace white people with Latin Americans and isn’t California 50th in education and road condition and doesn’t that make California a failed state?

Went on the plane to see my sister lying comatose in Long Beach General Hospital, I got on the train coming from the airport, sat across from the scariest looking woman I ever saw, she looked like she was a Priestess in Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto. It’s another country, whatever the brainwash junion G-men at McClatchy try to tell you.

From the article:

“The center city and Westside – the most familiar parts of L.A. worldwide – are far whiter than the U.S. as a whole.”

Mexico is predominantly white European ruled. Were I Mexican indian, or mestizo, I would likely try to go north too.

Well, the Mexicans are taking their original territory back, one illegal at a time but it looks to me more like an “invasion”.

SoCal has been turned into a crowded, decaying suburbia thanks to mass immigration, legal as well as illegal.

This is what I dont understand.

Is it certain areas i.e. orange county, pasadena, santa monica and other areas that are nice ... and then just messed up neighbourhoods.

In the last year, i have been (on work) to the 3 areas mentioned. They were super nice, laid back and no sense of poverty or crime. Santa Monica was incredibly prosperous (even in the office park that we were in).

Thoughts?

Luis Gutierrez, Mexico’s 2nd most effective member of Congress, says LA is Mexico’s 2nd largest city.
He’s Puerto Rican from what he says is Mexico’s 3rd largest city, Chicago.

You're correct about the white penninsular ruling class, but they're actually trying to push their impoverished over the border for us to deal with. They commonly referred to this country as a "safety valve" for their social problems. Now it's our social services that are overburdened with their "migrants" and as a bonus they receive billions of dollars in remittances, while their collaborators on our side of the border peddle the "huddled masses" crap. How they must laugh at us...with justification.

Your statement is very broad and very stupid but don’t
interpret my response as any kind of an endorsement of
the direction my state has been heading.

My friend’s mom was here in Massachusetts a couple weeks ago. Their family is all from Bucaramanga, Columbia.

She left mid 70 degrees to come to this very gray, dark place and she sure missed home.

I’ve seen so many photos and videos from the family and the entire area looks beautiful. People seem to enjoy life there very much.

My friend would easily so back to Columbia if she could but due to a divorce and a child she is unable to.

I sure would love to see it myself. I understand a lot of American’s are retiring in South and Central America these days.

That is an astoundingly bold faced lie. The “center city” of LA no matter how you define it is radically less white than America in general.

The west side, where I live ... and worked, is very, very white.

I’m not sure what they mean by “center city” maybe downtown which is also very, very white but ONLY IF YOU COUNT RESIDENTS .... not workers.
