The White House appears to have banned Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) from participating in immigration reform negotiations due to recent strain between Graham and the Trump administration, as well as other Republicans in the House and Senate.
Tensions first rose when Graham advocated for an immigration deal that failed to address President Donald Trumps main concerns regarding chain migration and border security alongside Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.). The situation worsened when the Republican senator criticized chief of staff John Kelly as never having closed a deal before, politically and top policy adviser Stephen Miller as being an outlier on immigration, according to The Washington Examiner.
It is almost appalling to me that you have a senator that isnt stepping up, doing the right thing, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in an interview with Fox News on Monday. Look, we want to make a deal on DACA. We want to do these things. And the fact that hes not part of the conversation to help move that ball forward and is instead attacking individual members of the presidents staff, I think, shows...theyre going to blame people for their own failures. And I think its time that they stop playing political games, come to the table, get serious and do their jobs.

...Graham's claim to fame is: 1) having twice negotiated a voluntary surrender for the GOP on immigration; and 2) winning 0.00 percent of the vote when he ran for president two years ago.
One suspects that having Lindsey Graham D-Mexico be part of immigration discussions is a bit like asking Harvey Weinstein to be a life coach. He has already abused his discretion, and is beyond untrustworthy.
“Who the Hell does he think he is?”
A two-term Senator from South Carolina. He thinks he now “owns” the seat, and he’s probably right.
“When will AZ governor appoint a replacement for McCain since he is worthless as teats on a boar hog.”
Just as soon as he dies or resigns, but not before, because he can’t by law!
This is all on Trump. He made a serious mistake here.
Soon after he was inaugurated, Trump should have appointed Lindsey Graham ‘Federal Director of Gay Outreach’. Then Graham would have been busy officially cruising alleyways and bus stops. He would have no time to interfere in the immigration debate.
My guess is he has staffers and pollsters working for him who have told him exactly that. I doubt he does his own research or talks to his own constituents. What he wants is to stay in power as a senator and will do whatever needs to be done to that end.
LMAO Hoosiermama!
It seems like that would be the case unless Trump folds.
Trump extended the executive order program ~6 mo. to give Congress time to get their legislation straight.
Oh, I hope this is true. If we could get confirmation, I would laugh and laugh.
I was mistaken. The story is for real and uses quotes to show it. I was reacting to the seemingly endless negativity of the immigration issue—the negativity being used as an effort to kill our 2018 congressional vote.
The President did set the deadline for DACA, as anyone can see by following the link to see the end of the article. Problem is, very few readers follow the link before commenting or trolling.
They keep thinking things are normal. They’re not. Trump is not going to be outmaneuvered nor accept a deal that saves face.
The Dems have already lost on this issue. Now they’re whining there way there. Trump has made a generous offer and they’ll not get any better.
People playing both sides will get burned just as Lindsay Graham has.
Now four years into his third term.
Often times when I am in South Carolina I see a leftist advertisement attacking Grahamnesty. Dems attack him and all he does is ask for another. Just bizarre.
When I first glanced at it, I thought it said “Lindsey Graham Crosses Himself, Gets Booted...”
They may attack him, but I’d bet some vote for him, just to coninually piss off conservatives. Has he had a real conservative primary challenger in recent history? Also as they say, all politics are local and senatorial seniority brings financial goodies for states. The more senior the senator the more goodies they bring home.. Also consider that many people don’t follow politics at all they merely put a check mark next to the name that sounds sort of familiar to them. What a mess.
Obviously, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, aka the U.S. Chamber of Amnesty, promised Graham a cushy multi-million dollar lobbying deal when he retires from the Senate.
He’s constituents are Tom Donahue and the rest of the traitors at the U.S. COC.
“He’s” should be “His.”
While in gitmo, he can talk
Talking is a problym
