Offer some kind of path to “legal residency”, but with the stipulation that the “former” illegal immigrant AND HIS CHILDREN would not be allowed to vote. Ever. I bet if you gave the democrats EVERYTHING ELSE they wanted for these people, they would reject it on those grounds alone.

Faulty logic.

Democrats would take that up quickly, then as soon as they had the majority and the WH, they would repeal and replace.

The President has the right approach, carrot and stick.

Carrot is agreement to review DACA applications.

Stick is deny 99%+ applications, build wall, merit-based immigration.

I think that is a great idea but IMHO will never work - they would immediately run to one of their favorite liberal judges and get relief from the "NO VOTE" provision in such a law. Remember what the Libtards cannot win at the ballot box immediately goes to a judge to overturn the will of the people.

They will argue that a compassionate America cannot have two different classes of legal residents (even though we do that today with folks here on visas). In parts of CA and NY they are already allowing NON-CITICENS to vote, run for office, and hold public office. RATS would not stand still for one second having their "Victim class" of citizens denied the ability to vote for good old Santa Clause. They are already dependent on Uncle sugar daddy. The RATS have done the same thing to illegal aliens that they accomplished with the black family in the 1960s - made then unwed mothers popping spawn over and over knowing they do not need no daddy and Uncle sugar daddy will provide for their every need.
