Logically, once you start with a flawed premise, everything else which flows from it is also flawed. Because leftist economic ideas begin with the flawed premise of fixed wealth and a simple division of that fixed wealth among the world's population, all the conclusions and implications which follow can be safely discarded as hogwash.

Wealth can be created and destroyed. It is not a fixed quantity. One man's wealth does not preclude the accumulation of wealth by anyone else. They are entirely and completely separate.

In other words, you cannot EVER make the poor wealthy by making the wealthy poor.
