Of course, Massachusetts residents believe Mitt Romney should run for the U.S. Senate as long as it is not in Massachusetts.
He tried that once and lost. That was in 1994 when a fresh-faced Romney, who would later become governor, challenged the then-troubled Sen. Ted Kennedy, who was seeking his sixth conservative term

Running to replace Ted “The Swimmer” Kennedy who was running
For his sixth conservative term?
Where do these guys learn to write?
Romney SUCKS, if he’s elected he’ll caucus with the dems.
I wish a lot more for Romney but Forum Decorum and Policy prevent me from enumerating details here.
The "author" must be referring to Bizzaro-World Teddy. All of Teddy's terms in the senate on this world were liberal-leftist terms.
Okay, this is definitely a "Bizzaro-World" article, because on this planet, Mitt Romney was never in a position to "finish off" Barack Obama and he never had him "on the defensive". Mitt Romney was one of the weakest presidential candidates ever foisted on us by the republicrat party. He is the Casper Milquetoastest Casper Milquetoast in the history of the alleged-GOP. And whoever wrote this drivel is delusional.
So what you’re saying is the author is being creative with facts.
So, a liar.
Yeah, that sounds about right.
Love them “conservative” terms!
Such is the state of modern journalism!
Regards,
Okay. but what about his claim the Mitt Romney had Barack Obama “on the defensive” during the 2012 campaign and that he was, at one time, in a position to “finish him off”.
I paid pretty close attention to the 2012 presidential campaign and I have to say I never noticed anything like this author describes. What I saw was a supremely weak and ineffectual RINO candidate basically having his a$$ handed to him on a near-daily basis by, of all people, Barack Obama. A ham sandwich should have been able to beat Barack Obama in 2012, but Mitt Romney somehow managed to lose.
Conservative term? I think the idiot meant Consecutive terms...
