resident Trump is headed to Davos Wednesday night as positive reviews of his tax cuts stream in from CEOs and financiers from around the globe. National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn claimed Tuesday that the administration’s economic agenda has "unleashed the U.S. economy" and it looks like the executive class gathered in the Swiss Alps largely agrees. Speaking at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting this week, Credit Suisse CEO Tidjane Thiam proclaimed, "Tax reform in the U.S. has been exactly what we needed ... to give a new impetus to world growth.”

I believe Trump’s message at Davos is a middle finger to Soros.

"Tax reform in the U.S. has been exactly what we needed ... to give a new impetus to world growth.”

To which Obama replied:

"What? How's that possible? Capitalism and the free-market system never work. Remember how great the world was doing under me?"

The maroon who wrote this is a real critical thinker. He never questioned this worn-put leftist nosegay, quoted in the FT piece:
“You can’t reduce tax rates if you have huge deficits,”

They said that about Reagan’s tax cuts too, to which the The Gipper replied: “Deficits are big enough to worry about themselves.” By the end of his eight years, and following two tax cuts, virtually every U.S. federal agency was running a surplus - which Bill Clinton tried to take credit for in 1992, and ever after.

IMHO, the real reasons they like the tax cuts are that there will boost the US economy, AND that other countries will now follow with cuts of their own trying to maintain their advantage over the US. This will boost the entire world’s economy.

Even the most rudimentary understanding of economics leads to the conclusion that the only proper corporate tax rate is 0.

The only reason that corporations are taxed at all is that they don’t vote.

Let me translate for those in Rio-Linda...

They are like the Pelicans in Finding Nemo, "Mine, Mine Mine !!!"

Seriously, if you ( Insert EU Country ) were leaders, you would not have taken us down that bunny hole of Global Warming and drilled and fracked your lands for independence instead of looking for a tax scheme w/ a whole new "carbon-credit" market where trading paper makes money, when you should be making things of value.

Ya some of your cars are cool, however fix your immigration issues. I am so tired of hearing we need to do it like they do, ya right just like England's health care...

Nevermind the EU change the name to BU, "Beta Union"...

Yes, but most of the pointed-headed globalists spend most of their time plotting ways to increase taxes. I think they actually fall for their own BS until someone like Trump comes along and shows them the obvious.

“Soros was across town, talking about the various threats facing Western democracies, a category in which he included the Trump Administration.”
