As for this Meghan twit, she’s rudely speaking the truth: neither faction of the uniparty is remotely interested in traditional Christian teachings or Christians for that matter. They’re strictly secular and are perfectly happy to throw us to the wolves whenever convenient.
Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing.
She’s not wrong. It’s the thing my kids hate about the republican party. They are much more tolerant of the whole LGBTQ.....??? thing then I am, and they were raised Christian and went to a Christian high school. It’s amazing how many kids have come out as gay since they graduated high school too. Of course, we live in California, but it is still really amazing.
Evangelicals? They don’t understand Christians or Christianity at all. Nor do they care to.
Meghan McCain should be careful; apparently she doesn’t know the One who is truly in control.
It broadens out near the end to what may be a larger group of "these people", but "this kind of cr@p" was a reference to that one man with the very ironic name.

I just think the last siren song of his power is with President Trump at this moment, because he still appeasing his base in a lot of ways, especially with speaking out at the Right to Life march but I don’t see these people being as nearly as relevant in the next election cycle.”
She can say anything she wants. Just as long as she reveals where here old man’s grave is.

i was just listening to a couple lectures from a Christian pastor.....who was discussing how his denomination has seen many new pastors coming in who are of the .... worldly persuasion (I am fishing for the right short phrase)
and do not really preach much at all about morals or ethics
he travels the country trying to get congregations to demand more traditional Biblical teaching and less modern secularistic everything=goes stuff
but of course he realizes better than perhaps anyone, just how hard it is to push that bolder back up the mountain
ps:: and obviously we can all see the same slide downhill in morals and Biblical teaching not just in many protestant churches, but also in Roman Catholicism and Judaism too
the pagan culture is winning a whole lot these days, including inside the churches themselves!
