President Trump slammed Democratic mayors, including New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, who boycotted a meeting with him at the White House Wednesday in a protest over the administration’s crackdown on “sanctuary” cities for illegal immigrants.
“The mayors who choose to boycott this event have put the needs of criminal, illegal immigrants over law-abiding America,” Mr. Trump said. “So let me tell you, the vast majority of people showed up.”

I’m so glad to have a president not afraid to speak his mind and call out the people he should. Sometimes it means a boring lame pissing contest that makes some reporter nobody heard of become semi famous (megan ? from debates), other times it really lays bare the emptiness of the media or virtue signaling politicians. I’ll gladly tolerate the former to get the latter.
Well said, the last two Repubs in office wouldn’t speak out against their own shadow.
The American citizens living in these cities and states should sue these ijits for putting them at risk, in harms way...
for not protecting THEM...
What Trump could do is say immigrants living in sanctuary cities are not eligible for DACA protection.
