But that’s the thing. If falls in line with what is happening all the time in Chicago. In a way, what makes it so special is that it happened in a geographical location where it doesn’t normally happen. And since it’s only one event in that area, it doesn’t make a trend or anything. It’s just another gun crime. And only one.

This article is a complete farce to make things sound worse than they are... I admit there is a problem when kids bring guns to school, but there have not been 11 school shootings this year.

What other school shootings were listed??
This is the only reference made to the other 10 I could find...
Some of the shootings at schools this year were suicides that injured no one else; some did not result in any injuries at all.
