Prayers still coming. Glad she is doing so well.
My heartfelt prayers for Sophia in her battle to beat the odds. Lord, we don’t know what the future holds for ourselves, but if we don’t use you, Jesus, to battle against the forces that desire to take us down, then we have already lost the battle.
Sophia, you are a true warrior, for you are battling odds that I have never faced, and I pray I never will. Dearest little girl, I pray daily for the strength you have, and the love you spread.
Lord I know you are with her, watching over her, and pushing her to continue through all adversity, and Lord I pray for her to continue fighting and blessing those around her, because I know you will heal her to the point You want her to be. Lord, one day when she stands before You in heaven, she will hear You say, “Good true servant, you have battled the odds and you have won, now enter into the comfort of My rest.
In Jesus name Lord I pray for Sophia to be healed, and I pray for her mother Lilyramone to be strong and steadfast in her fight to stay strong for Sophia. I pray for the whole family unit and extended family members to be positive and prayerful in the way the approach all they may face while helping Sophia heal. Lord, we always pray for healing and strength, but for me Lord, I mostly pray for thy will in Sophia’s life to be done.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen

Check this for Sunday’s update. Sophia is out of ICU, off pain medication, has stood and walked some, no swelling at the surgical site - reported doing fine in all respects...

9:30 p.m. Sophia is doing so great! Her strength and attitude are just simply wonderful!
They are even talking about sending us home soon because she is recovering so well!
She has asked us again to spend our day off of our phones and tablets to play together and spend time together as a family...as it should be.
Thank you for your prayers and messages...we still share them together. We appreciate your understanding that her recovery takes priority over updating her sites and we promise she plans to share with everyone her experiences from this chapter of her life very soon!!
As for now she is simply enjoying watching the snow fall outside of her window while she is chatting away about her excitement for her planned play date with her best friend when we return home.
We added an additional section in the photos and videos page of her time in Boston and pre-surgery photos!!

How many adults would feel up to such a trip after brain surgery - a plane ride home from Boston and then one to DC and back? It would do me in, I know that! God has blessed the whole family - an awesome family!

We are honored to be guests at this event and Sophia is excited to meet new friends of faith!
