The ones that are leeching off the system, criminals or general miscreants, ship them out. However, they get legal status but not citizenship, unless they are serving or have served. As far as the parents go, ship them back and no chain migration and build the wall.

I think that’s the realistic scenario. I don’t see a mass deportation either. Personally I want to see an immigration moratorium for twenty years. I’m not gonna blame this president if what you suggest occurs. He’s the first president since Eisenhower to do something about combating illegal immigration!

America doesn’t have a multi-tiered Citizen ‘caste’ system. There are TWO Citizen levels, that I can discern: criminals (in jail and thus have reduced Rights) and Free Men/Citizens. There is no, nor should there be, others.
I got a solution. Easy to implement and COMPLETELY legal/Constitutional:
1) Terminate the Welfare State in any/all forms
2) ENFORCE the Law & PROSECUTE the breakers and enablers

It's not the STAYing that I have issue with. It's the idea of EVER giving them a path to citizenship that doesn't require them to return to their homelands and get in the back of the line.
The "best and brightest" can stay with permanent resident alien (green card) status. NO DIRECT PATH TO CITIZENSHIP. EVER.
Otherwise, the Dems get their cake (the "dreamers" get to stay) AND get to eat it, too (they get to VOTE).
